Minor changes to ECHA Guidance for companies placing hazardous mixtures on the EU market

This guidance concerns the obligation to submit certain information on hazardous mixtures placed on the market, for health emergency response reasons.

The revised edition (version 5) clarifies existing interpretations and corrects minor errors. No changes to existing provisions and obligations have been introduced.

In particular, the update clarifies obligations and options for importers and non-EU suppliers, application of the transitional period and the use of generic component identifiers. Clarifications about update rules for group submissions have also been included.

The guidance has been consulted with competent authorities and the European Commission. Currently, translations exist only for the previous version 4. Companies can still refer to this version until the updated translations are made available.
