Translations available for ECHA's Guidance on Annex VIII
The Guidance on harmonised information relating to health emergency response - Annex VIII to CLP - is now available in 23 EU languages.
The Annex VIII guidance was developed to help companies placing hazardous mixtures on the market to comply with their obligations. Version 2 was published in English in July 2019 including a note of dissent regarding the definition of ‘duty holder’, and is now available in 23 EU languages.
This version of the Guidance does not reflect the recent Annex VIII amendments which will postpone the first compliance date for mixtures intended for consumer use, from 1 January 2020 to 1 January 2021. Version 3 of the Guidance – to be published in 2020 - will incorporate these amendments.
