IUCLID update brings additional checks for poison centre notifications
The IUCLID service release on 26 April introduces new checks in the ECHA Submission portal that may impact poison centre notifiers and software providers. These checks will be implemented to ensure that ECHA’s systems can correctly receive the dossiers, and that the information is reported consistently.

The European product categorisation system has been updated for e-liquids, medical devices, alloys, and pyrotechnic products. EuPCS is now available in 23 EU languages together with updated support material.

Commission adopts change to first compliance date for reporting to poison centres
The European Commission has adopted a delegated act amending the CLP Regulation, which will postpone the first compliance date for harmonised reporting to poison centres, for mixtures intended for consumer use, from 1 January 2020 to 1 January 2021.
