It is prohibited to place on the market or use plant protection products containing triazoxide because this active substance has not been included in Annex I to Council Directive 91/414/EEC of 15 July 1991 concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market (
OJ L 230, 19.8.1991, p. 1-32) pursuant to Commission Decision 2009/860/EC of 30 November 2009 concerning the non-inclusion of triazoxide in Annex I to Council Directive 91/414/EEC and the withdrawal of authorisations for plant protection products containing that substance (
OJ L 314, 1.12.2009, p. 81-82 ).
Triazoxide has therefore been added to Annex I by Commission Regulation (EU) No 214/2011 of 3 March 2011 amending Annexes I and V to Regulation (EC) No 689/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the export and import of dangerous chemicals (
OJ L 059, 4.3.2011, p. 8-14 ).
