Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Boiling point determination according to Siwoloboff gave the following results:

Temperature and Observation:

ca..l90°C - sample returns yellow

ca. 285°C - sample returns brown

ca. 296 °C - sample returns dark brown

ca. 300 °C - sample returns black,

- evolution of gas bubbles, no boiling

kp (98.3 kPa): >573 K

Conclusions:
The test substance decomposes at >190°C before boiling

Description of key information

The study provided was conducted to recognised testing guidelines and with GLP certification.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

decomposed before boiling (decomposition at >190°C)

The decomposition of substance was observed by determination according to Siwoloboff.

Additionally the boiling point of test substance was measured to be 131°C at 11 Pa by TGA and extrapolated to be 349°C at 1013 hPa
