Irritant / corrosive response data:
Within 72 h after application of substance complete corneal opacity occured. Conjunctiva were severe and iris moderately inflamed. 2 of the 3 treated animals died on day 4 or 8 after application of substance. At the surviving animal signs of inflammation and corneal opacity were reversible on day 7and 14 respectively.
Other effects:
2 out of 3 animals died during post observation period

Any other information on results incl. tables

Within 72 after application of the test substance, a complete corneal opacity, pronounced inflammation of conjuctivae and slight inflammation of the iris was seen. Two out of 3 animals died on day 4 or day 8 after the application of the test substance. On the animal which survived, the inflammation and opacity was reversibel on day 7 and 14, respectively.
