Disposal : Treat recovered material as described in the section "Disposal considerations".
Handling and storage
This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) for on-site isolated intermediates and, in case the substance is transported to other sites for further processing, the substance should be handled at these sites under the Strictly Controlled Conditions as specified in REACH regulation Article 18(4). Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available at each manufacturing site. Written confirmation of application of Strictly Controlled Conditions has been received from every affected Distributor and Downstream Processor/User of the Registrant’s intermediate.
Storage conditions:
Recommended : Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place. Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition. Keep away from incompatiblmaterials to be indicated by the manufacturer
Incompatible products : Alkalis and caustic products: Oxidizing materials.
Packaging materials - Recommended : Stainless steel road-tanker., Metallic drums.
Packaging materials - To be avoided : Certain plastic materials.

Exposure controls:
Engineering measures : Use only in well-ventilated areas. Effective exhaust ventilation system. Avoid splashes.
Personal protective equipment:
Respiratory protection : In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Self-contained breathing apparatus (EN 133)
Hand protection : Where there is a risk of contact with hands, use appropriate gloves. The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it.
Please observe the instructions regarding permeability and breakthrough time which are provided by the supplier of the gloves. Also take into consideration the specific local conditions under which the product is used, such as the danger of cuts, abrasion, and the contact time.
Eye protection : Safety goggles
Skin and body protection : In case of contact through splashing: Complete suit protecting against chemicals. Complete head face and neck protection.Remove and wash contaminated clothing.
Hygiene measures : Emergency equipment immediately accessible, with instructions for use. Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location. Use clean, well-maintained personal protection equipment. Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
Protective measures : Selection of appropriate personal protective equipment should be based on an evaluation of the performance characteristics of the protective equipment relative to the task(s) to be performed, conditions present, duration of use, and the potential hazards and/or risks that may occur during use.
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability : Stable at room temperature.
Materials to avoid : Strong bases. Strong oxidizing agents
Decomposition products : On combustion forms: highly toxic gases. Hydrogen cyanide (hydrocyanic acid)
Disposal considerations
Product Disposal
Prohibition : Avoid release to the environment.
Advice on Disposal : Must be incinerated in a suitable incineration plant holding a permit delivered by the competent authorities.
Measures for waste avoidance. : Do not dispose of the product at a rubbish tip.
Advice : Clean with cold water. Recover the cleaning water and dispose of at a specialist site. Reason for waste disposal : Reuse or recycle following washing.
Other data : Dispose of as hazardous waste in compliance with local and national regulations.
