Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Remove contaminated clothing.
If inhaled: If difficulties occur after vapour/aerosol has been inhaled, remove to fresh air and seek medical
attention.
On skin contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
On contact with eyes: Immediately wash affected eyes for at least 15 minutes under running water with eyelids held open,
consult an eye specialist.
On ingestion: Rinse mouth immediately and then drink plenty of water, seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: dry powder, carbon dioxide, foam, water spray
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: No particular hazards known.
Advice for fire-fighters: Forms slippery surfaces with water.
Accidental release measures
none
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
Environmental precautions: Discharge into the environment must be avoided. No special precautions necessary.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: For large amounts: Sweep/shovel up.
For residues: Pick up with suitable absorbent material.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: Do not allow to dry. Allowing pumps to run with the valve closed is not permissible. Should only be
decanted using pumps having no packing glands, or with other authorized equipment.
Protection against fire and explosion: If exposed to fire, keep containers cool by spraying with water. Keep away from combustible material. The product is incombustible. It can lower the ignition temperature of combustible substances. Risk of explosion if heated under confinement.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Segregate from combustible materials.
