Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: No emergency care anticipated.
Skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash area with soap and water.
Eye contact: Immediately flush eyes with water and continue washing for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention without delay, preferably from ophthalmologist.
Ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting. Do not give anything to drink.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Alcohol-resistant foam Carbon dioxide.
Further information: Do not direct a solid stream of water or foam into hot, burning pools: This may cause frothing and increase fire intensity. This material may produce a floating fire hazard.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Avoid contact with liquid and vapours. Use personal protective equipment.
Environmental precautions: Do not allow runoff to sewer, waterway or ground.
Methods for cleaning up: Absorb spillage with suitable absorbent material.
Handling and storage
Handling
Advice on safe handling: Avoid breathing vapour. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not taste or swallow. Do not add nitrites or other nitrosating agents. A nitrosamine, which may cause cancer may be formed. Use only with adequate ventilation.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: All equipment used when handling the product must be grounded.
Storage
Requirements for storage areas and containers: Keep container closed.
Other data: Stable.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Engineering measures
Provide eyewash station and safety shower.
Personal protective equipment
Respirometry protection: Respirator with a vapour filter (EN 141)
Hand protection: Advise: Protective gloves made of Neoprene, Nitrile rubber, Polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Eye protection: Face shield
Skin and body protection: Long sleeved clothing and safety shoes.
Stability and reactivity
Material to avoid: Strong acids.
Further information: No dangerous reaction if used as recommended.
Hazardous decomposition products: In case of fire, gives off (emits): Carbon oxides, Nitrogen oxides, Carbon monoxide is highly toxic if inhaled; carbon dioxide in sufficient concentrations can act as an asphyxiant. Acute overexposure to the products of combustion may result in irritation of the respiratory tract.
Disposal considerations
Product: Can be incinerated when in compliance with local regulations.
Contaminated packaging: Dispose of as unused product.
