First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Fresh air and consult a doctor.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water and consult a doctor.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water and soap and consult a doctor.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Drink water; in case of consciousness induce vomiting;
consult a doctor.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: carbon dioxide, powder, sand (no water)
Product arising from burning: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides and HCN.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Self-contained respirator, protective clothing, protective
gloves.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Take up with a chemical binder and collect in labelled
containers. Use an appropriate vacuum cleaner. Protective
equipment as described in 2.3.1 should be worn. Residues
should be covered with diluted ammonia water and disposed.
Handling and storage
Handling: Product is an isocyanate.
Protective clothing, eye protection and protective gloves
are to be worn. Every contact with the substance should be
avoid. Refilling of products only with respiratory protec-
tion.
Installation of extraction devices at refilling stations is
absolutely necessary.
Use splash-proof filling/refilling and dosage systems.
Storage: Storage in closed, unbreakable containers and secure the
container against falling. After removal of the product,
avoid product residues on the packages.
Observe the applicable regulations.
Provide good ventilation.
