Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Skin contact:
Wash skin immediately with plenty of water.
Remove contaminated clothing. If irritation persists after washing, consult a doctor.
Eye Contact
Flush eyes immediately with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes, keeping open eyelids. Consult a doctor promptly.
Inhalation
Separate casualty from the danger zone. Place the affected in the most comfortable position and protéjasele cold. If breathing is labored or patient is cyanotic, give oxygen through a facemask. Seek immediate medical attention.
Ingestion
If the affected person is conscious, give two glasses of water or milk and cause vomiting. Then orally administered 6 tablets effervescent calcium dissolved in water. Consult a doctor immediately.
Caution: Ingestion of small amounts can cause sudden and severe hypocalcemia. in If poisoning or accident, call a Service Emergency Hospital.
Fire-fighting measures
The product is not combustible or oxidizing. No restriction in case of fire in the nearby.
Transfer the containers to a safe area, provided that such operation is safe.
Provide respiratory protection and protective clothing when extinguising a fire.
Accidental release measures
Collect as much product as possible for the cycle productive. Prevent contamination of soil, water and drains.
Mechanically collect preventing the formation of powder. Introduce in appropriately marked, clean, dry and closable recipients. Evacuate containers from spill area. Then wash the area thoroughly with water.
Handling and storage
Avoid inhalation, absorption and contact with the product. Handle containers carefully, preventing spills and dust. Seek ventilation. Containers which have been partially used must remain hermetically closed after use and be returned to the warehouse. Empty containers may contain waste, and must therefore be handled as if full.
Storage should be located in a dry and well-ventilated zone, adapted for toxic products away from heat source and incompatible products. Store in original recipient. Do not store in the proximity of products intended for human or animal. In Spain, the storage must comply with the R.D. 379/2001 (Regulation storage chemicals) when stored above 250 Kg.
As packaging materials can be used laminated paper packaging, plastic bags, plasticized cardboard drums, plastic drums, Plastics IBCs.

Exposure controls / personal protection
VLA – ED: 2,5 mg. (F) / m3
Local exhaust is recommended to keep dust emissions below the lowest level permissible exposure. Regular checks of the medium
work environment.
Eye Protection
Do not wear contact lenses while using the substance. Use chemical protection gogles .
Skin protection
Wear protective long-slives clothes and neoprene or rubber boots. In emergency cases, wear an impermeable to particles clothes (IPE category 3 type 5). Wear neoprene or rubber gloves.
Respiratory protection
All EPIs shall be category 3, possibly type FFP3 masks filter, P3 type half mask filters, full mask type P3 filter, assisted ventilation with helmet or hood type THP3, assisted ventilation with full mask type TMP3.
Stability and reactivity
The reaction with strong mineral acids produces HF.
The product should be kept dry.
Disposal considerations
Product
Deliver the product packaging, in dry and closed containers to an authorized agent to manage disposal, which probably made by a subsequent chemical and physical treatment deposit in a landfill.
Recipient
Before destruction or deposit, containers must be dusted with caution.
Once cleaned, recipients can be eliminated in a duly authorized landfill, or by combustion in a legally authorized plant.
Non contaminated packaging must be treated as inert waste or recyclable material.
