Additional information
The physico-chemical properties of 2,5-dihydroxy-3,6-dimethyl-3,6-bis(dihydroxyphosphinyl)-1,4,2,5-dioxadiphosphorane-2,5-dioxide, hexasodium salt (ADPA dimer Na salt) were determined experimentally on the parent substance as manufactured, i.e. with ca 35% moisture (unless otherwise specified), or estimated from QSARs. Endpoints not relevant were waived.
The substance is a dense solid at ambient temperature, with negligible volatility anticipated. It is very soluble in water, with no surface-active properties. It has low potential for bioaccumulation based on its estimated Log Kow value of -0.61.
It is not classified as dangerous with regard to physical hazards, according to CLP criteria. However, incompatible substances may lead to release of dangerous decomposition products
