Results and discussion
Any other information on results incl. tables
In the United States, water departments of several cities and other organisations monitor drinking water and rivers used for water supply also for substances not regulated by the US EPA. As one member of these unregulated volatile organic substances, p-chlorotoluene has not been detected recently with a typical limit of detection of 0.5 µg/l, e.g. in the New River (California Regional Water Quality Control Board, 2003), the Trinity River Basin (Land et al., 1998), the Duck River (Duck River Utility Commission, 2003), or in the drinking water of Ocean City MD (Ocean City, 2002) and Phoenix AZ (City of Phoenix, 2000)
