Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
4.1 Description of first aid measures
When in doubt or if symptoms are observed, get medical advice.
Following inhalation
No special measures are necessary.
In case of skin contact
Wash immediately with: Water
After eye contact
Rinse immediately carefully and thoroughly with eye-bath or water.
After ingestion
Rinse mouth immediately and drink plenty of water.
4.2 Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
No information available.
4.3 Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
None
Fire-fighting measures
5.1 Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media
CO2, Foam, Chemical powders, according to the materials involved in the fire.
5.2 Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
None
5.3 Advice for firefighters
Use a breathing apparatus. Wear fully protective suit. Do not breathe fumes from the fire.
Accidental release measures
Directive 98/24/EC of 7 April 1998 on the protection of the health and safety of workers from the risks related to
chemical agents at work
6.1 Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Take the precautions customary when handling chemicals.
For non-emergency personnel
For non-emergency personnel leaving the involved area and join a safe place
6.2 Environmental precautions
Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.
6.3 Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
For containment
In case of solild product, avoid the dust release. In case of liquid product, limit and adsorb the spill with inert
adsorbing material (for example sand, vermiculite). Put the resultant material in adeguate packiaging and send to an
authorized plant for the disposal. Collect the spread product, and then wash with water area and materials. Recove
the water used and send to an authorizedplant for the disposanl.
For cleaning up
The contaminated area should be cleaned up immediately with: Water Retain contaminated washing water and
dispose it.
6.4 Reference to other sections
Information on exposure control / personal protection and considerations on disposal are listed in Sections 8 and 13.
Handling and storage
7.1 Precautions for safe handling
Wear suitable protective equipment (see Section 8).
Protective measures
Specific requirements or handling rules
No specific requirements
Advices on general occupational hygiene
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene rules.
7.2 Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Only use containers specifically approved for the substance/product.
Hints on joint storage
Storage class : 10
Storage class (TRGS 510) : 10

Exposure controls / personal protection
8.1 Control parameters
None
8.2 Exposure controls
Personal protection equipment
Work in well-ventilated zones or use proper respiratory protection. When handling with chemical substances,
protective clothing with CE-labels including the four control digits must be worn.
Eye/face protection
Suitable eye protection
Glasses with side protection (EN 166).
Skin protection
Hand protection
You must wear protective gloves (EN 374 Chemical Risk). The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to
the product / the substance / the preparation. Suitable materials with direct and prolonged contact (recommended:
protection index 6 corresponding to> 480 minutes permeation time as per EN 374): eg nitrile rubber (0.4 mm),
chloroprene rubber (0.5 mm), polyvinylchloride (0.7 mm) and other.
Breakthrough time (maximum wearing time) : The manufacturer of the gloves breakthrough time of the
material and respect this indication.
Body protection
taken in the selection of protective clothing to prevent the inflammation and irritation of the skin of the neck and
wrists through such contact with the powder or small quantities. The body protection must be suitable depending on
activity and possible exposure, eg apron, boots and suitable for contact with chemical agents (according to EN
14605 in case of splashes or EN ISO 13982 in case of dust).
Respiratory protection
Carry along escape equipment (self rescuer).
Stability and reactivity
10.1 Reactivity
No hazardous reactions when stored and handled as described in paragraph 7.
10.2 Chemical stability
See section 7. No additional measures necessary.
10.3 Possibility of hazardous reactions
No known hazardous reactions.
10.4 Conditions to avoid
Avoid any source of ignition: heat, sparks, naked flames. Avoid electrostatic discharge.
10.5 Incompatible materials
Unknow incompatible materials
10.6 Hazardous decomposition products
No information available.
Disposal considerations
13.1 Waste treatment methods
Product/Packaging disposal
Waste treatment options
Appropriate disposal / Product
Dispose according to legislation. Evidence for disposal must be provided.
