A 96 h study was conducted for CAS No.129-17-9 on Zebra Fish (Danio rerio), at a test concentrations of 6.25 mg/L, 12.5mg/L,25mg/L, 50mg/L, 100mg/L mg/L. No mortalities were found in the control aquaria.

Following experimental study from ABITEC for structurally similar read across Hydrogen [4-[4-(diethylamino)-2', 4'-disulphonatobenzhydrylidene] cyclohexa-2, 5-dien-1-ylidene] die...; sodium 4-{[4-(diethylamino)phenyl][4-(diethyliminio)cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene]methyl}benzene-1,3-... (CAS: 129-17-9) suggests that the Fish Acute Toxicity test according to OECD Guideline 203 was conducted for Hydrogen [4-[4-(diethylamino)-2', 4'-disulphonatobenzhydrylidene] cyclohexa-2, 5-dien-1-ylidene] diethyl ammonium, sodium salt. The nominal concentration selected for the experiment were 6.25 mg/L, 12.5mg/L,25mg/L, 50mg/L, 100mg/L andZebra Fish (Danio rerio)were exposed to these concentration for 96 hours.
