Key result
Decomposition:
yes
Decomp. temp.:
> 119 - < 318 °C

The test item decomposed above 119 °C. No boiling point was determined up to 500 °C.

Conclusions:
No boiling point of the test item could be determined as the test item decomposes before boiling.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted according to OECD TG 103, EU Method A.2 to determine the boiling point of the test item. A DSC measurement was performed in order to determine the melting point of the test item. 2.1 mg of the test item was weighed into a crucible and it was closed. The prepared crucible was inserted in the DSC and heated from room temperature to 500 °C at a constant heating rate of 10 K/min. The test item decomposed above 119 °C. No boiling point was determined up to 500 °C.

Description of key information

No boiling point of the test item could be determined as the test item decomposes before boiling.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
