First-aid measures
- General advice:
Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Do not breathe vapor or mist
- Following inhalation:
Move to fresh air. Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed.
- Following skin contact:
Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated clothes and shoes.
- Following eye contact:
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician immediately.
- Following ingestion:
Rinse mouth immediately and drink plenty of water. If symptoms persist, call a physician. Do not induce vomiting without medical advice.
- Most important symptoms and effects: -
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media:
Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment. Alcohol resistant foam. Dry chemical. Carbon dioxide (CO2). Water spray. Foam.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media:
Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Hazardous combustion products. Produce flammable and toxic gases on contact with water.
- Advice for fire fighter: Standard procedure for chemical fires. Evacuate area and fight fire from a safe distance. In the event of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes. Wear self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions:
Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not breathe vapor or mist. Wear personal protective clothing
- Environmental precautions:
Do not allow material to contaminate ground water system. Prevent product from entering drains. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal.
Handling and storage
- Precautions for safe handling:
Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. To avoid ignition of vapours by static electricity discharge, all metal parts of the equipment must be grounded. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Polyethylene containers. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Store in accordance with local regulations. Keep at temperatures below 27°C.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Exposure controls
Engineering Controls: Use only in well-ventilated areas.
Personal Protective Equipment
Eye Protection: Wear safety glasses or full face shield if splashes are likely to occur.
Skin Protection: Wear protective gloves and protective clothing.
Hand Protection: Neoprene gloves. Nitrile rubber.
Respiratory protection: In case of mist, spray or aerosol exposure wear suitable personal respiratory protection and protective suit.
Protective equipment: Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location
General Hygiene Considerations: Take off all contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product.
Occupational exposure controls
Environmental Exposure Controls: Prevent product from entering drains. Do not allow material to contaminate ground water system. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained.
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability
: Stable under normal conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions
: None under normal processing.
Conditions to avoid
: Heating can release hazardous gases. Extremes of temperature and direct sunlight.
Incompatible materials
: Incompatible with oxidizing agents. Incompatible with strong acids and bases. Heavy metals.
Disposal considerations
Waste from residues/unused products: Should not be released into the environment. Can be incinerated, when in compliance with local regulations
Contaminated packaging: Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste handling site for recycling or disposal
