TGA EXPERIMENT (PRELIMINARY TEST)
Significant decrease of weight from 275°C upwards. At 549°C the sample weight had decreased by 16%.
After the experiment, a black charred residue remained in the sample container (original colour: pink). The change of the colour indicated reaction and/or decomposition of the test item.
DSC EXPERIMENT
DSC curve: see Figure 1 in the attached study report.
The DSC-curve obtained showed an exothermic peak between 25°C and 150°C. Based on the weight loss observed in the TGA experiment it was assumed that this effect was most likely due to evaporation of solvent impurities. From 175°C several effects were observed which are related to reaction and/or decomposition of the test item. After the experiment, a black charred residue remained in the sample container.

- Melting of the test item was not observed below the temperature at which reaction and/or decomposition started (i.e. at 175°C). The substance has no melting temperature.

Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) experiments were performed in a GLP study according to EC A.1, OECD 102 and OPPTS 830.7200. The substance has no melting temperature. During heating from 25°C to 400°C reaction and/or decomposition of the substance started at 175°C. Melting of the test item was not observed below the temperature at which reaction and/or decomposition started.
