Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation : Consult a physician. Move to fresh air.
Skin contact : Take off all contaminated clothing immediately. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Eye contact : Immediately flush eye(s) with plenty of water.
Ingestion : Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Prevent vomiting if possible. If a person vomits when lying on his back, place him in the recovery position. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If accidentally swallowed obtain immediate medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Specific hazards during firefighting : Flash back possible over considerable distance. Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.
Advice for Fire Fighters : In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. for firefighters
Accidental release measures
Environmental Precautions : Prevent product from entering drains. No special environmental precautions required. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities.
Methods for cleaning up : Dam up. Wipe up with absorbent material (e.g. cloth, fleece).
Additional advice : Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained.Suppress (knock down) gases/vapours/mists with a water spray jet.
Handling and storage
Safe Handling : Provide sufficient air exchange and/or exhaust in work rooms. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Do not smoke. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Avoid exceeding the given occupational exposure limits (see section "personnal protection"). For personal protection see section "personnal protection".
Protection against explosions and fires : Take necessary action to avoid static electricity discharge (which might cause ignition of organic vapours). Use explosion-proof
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Requirements for storage areas and containers : Store in original container. Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed. To maintain product quality, do not store in heat or direct sunlight. No smoking. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Electrical installations / working materials must comply with the technological safety standards.
Advice on common storage : No special restrictions on storage with other products.
Other data : No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.
