Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
In case of skin contact: immediately take off all contaminated clothing.
Areas of the body that have - or are only even suspected of having - come into contact with the product must be rinsed immediately with plenty of running water and possibly with soap.
Wash thoroughly the body (shower or bath).
Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose off safely.
In case of eyes contact: rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
In case of ingestion: do not under any circumstances induce vomiting. OBTAIN A MEDICAL EXAMINATION IMMEDIATELY.
In case of inhalation: remove casualty to fresh air and keep warm and at rest.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed: may cause sensitisation by skin contact.
In case of accident or unwellness: seek medical advice immediately (show directions for use or safety data sheet if possible).
Treatment: treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: water, CO2 or dry chemical fire extinguisher.
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: none in particular.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: do not inhale explosion and combustion gases.
In case of combustion, carbon oxides (COx) and sulfur oxides (SOx) can be generated.
Advice for firefighters
Use suitable breathing apparatus .
Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains.
Move undamaged containers from immediate hazard area if it can be done safely.
Use fire fighter's clothing conforming to European standard EN469.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Wear personal protection equipment. Remove persons to safety.
Environmental precautions
Do not allow to enter into soil/subsoil. Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains. Retain contaminated washing water and dispose it.
In case of gas escape or of entry into waterways, soil or drains, inform the responsible authorities.
Suitable material for taking up: absorbing material, organic, sand.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
For cleaning up: wet clean or vacuum up solids.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Avoid contact with skin and eyes, inhalation of vapours and mists.
Don't use empty container before they have been cleaned.
Before making transfer operations, assure that there aren't any incompatible material residuals in the containers.
Contamined clothing should be changed before entering eating areas.
Do not eat or drink while working.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Ventilate where the product is stored and manipulated.
Keep container tightly closed.
Avoid formation of dust and the dispersion of the product in the air.
Store in a dry, well ventilated place away from sources of heat, ignition and direct sunlight.
Keep away from food, drink and feed.
Incompatible materials: acids, oxidizing agents.
Instructions as regards storage premises: adequately ventilated premises.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Eye protection: safety glasses with side protection for chemicals (EN166).
Protection for skin: use clothing that provides a full protection to the skin.
Protection for hands: use protective gloves according to EN 374 standards, on the base of the intended use (penetration and permeation).
Suitable material: nitrile
Respiratory protection: half-face mask (DIN EN 140) with filter "P", white colour
Thermal hazards: none
Environmental exposure controls: collective protection devices (general ventilation system)
Do not allow uncontrolled leakage of product into the environment.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: stable under normal conditions.
Chemical stability: the product is stable at normal handling- and storage conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: the product is stable at normal handling and storage conditions.
Conditions to avoid: keep material away from heat, sparks, flames, static electricity.
Avoid contact with acids.
Avoid contact with oxidizing agents.
Incompatible materials: acids, oxidizing agents
Hazardous decomposition products: products of combustion include carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) and sulphur oxides (SOx).
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods
Recover, if possible. Send to authorised disposal plants or for incineration under controlled conditions. In so doing, comply with the local and national regulations currently in force.
