First-aid measures
General advice:
Consult a physician. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance. Move out of dangerous area.
If inhaled:
Move person into fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Consult a physician.
In case of skin contact:
Immediately wash skin with soap and copious amounts of water. Get medical assistance if necessary.
In case of eye contact:
Flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Assure adequate flushing by separating the eyelids
with fingers. Get medical assistance if necessary.
If swallowed:
Wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Get medical assistance if necessary. Never give fluids or induce vomiting if the victim if unconscious or having convulsions.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media:
Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Carbon oxides.
Advice for firefighters:
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus for firefighting if necessary.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Use personal protective equipment. Avoid breathing vapors, mist or gas. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Environmental precautions:
Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not let product enter drains.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up:
Apply absorbent material, sweep up, place in a bag and hold for waste disposal. Avoid raising dust. Ventilate area and wash spill site after material pickup is complete.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Avoid inhalation and contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Avoid prolonged or repeated exposure. Wash thoroughly
after handling.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Keep tightly closed. Material is extremely hygroscopic.
Specific end use(s):
Adhesive.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Appropiate engineering controls:
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Wash hands before breaks and at the
end of workday.
Personal protective equipment:
Eye/face protection:
Chemical goggles, full face shield or safety glasses.
Skin protection:
Protective gloves.
Respiratory protection:
Use local exhaust at point of manufacture or use. Respiratory protection is not required. Where protection
from nuisance levels of vapors are desired, an appropriate APR can be worn.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity:
No data available/Not applicable.
Chemical stability:
Stable under recommended storage conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions:
No data available/Not applicable.
Conditions to avoid:
Excess heat.
Incompatible materials:
Alkalis, amines and other strong bases.
Hazardous decomposition products:
Carbon and nitrogen oxides.
Disposal considerations
Product disposal:
Contact a licensed professional waste disposal service to dispose of this material. Burn in a chemical incinerator
equipped with an afterburner and scrubber. Do not mix with acidic wastes or feed to incinerator directly after
feeding acidic waste. Observe all federal, state, and local environmental regulation.
