Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove from exposure. If there is difficulty in breathing,
give oxygen. Immediate medical attention is required.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush the eye with plenty of water for at least
20 minutes, holding the eye open. Immediate medical
attention is required.
Emergency measure - Skin: Immediately flush the skin with large quantities of water,
preferably under a shower. If skin contact occurs, remove
contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly. Continue
washing for at least 20 minutes. Contaminated clothing
should be washed or dry-cleaned before re-use. Immediately
medical attention is required.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Have victim drink 1-3 glasses of
water to dilute stomach contents. Immediate medical
attention is required. Never administer anything by mouth if
a victim is losing consciousness, is unconscious or is
convulsing.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Select extinguishing agent appropriate to other materials
involved.
Product arising from burning: COx, SO2, hydrogen fluoride.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear full protective clothing and self-contained breathing
apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep up into suitable containers for recovery or disposal.
Avoid dust formation.
Handling and storage
Handling: The test substance will only be used in the IC industry by
trained personnel. Exposure is minimal. Skin Contact is
avoided by the use of chemical resistant gloves and suitable
protective clothing. Inhalation is avoided by the use of
appropriate respirators. Mechanical room ventilation is
provided, and special local exhaust is recommended at points
where vapors can be released into the workplace air.
Storage: Store in original container. Storage area should be: cool
dry well ventilated out of direct sunlight away from
incompatible materials.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The preparation is packaged into either one gallon or one
quart bottles (glass or plastic). These are placed into a
plastic bag, which is tied. The bottles are transported in
a cardboard box.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: 610A Recovery, not specified
The substance will only be imported into the EU in a
preparation. Due to the low concentration of the substance
in the product formulation, recovery would not be effective.
Contaminated product cannot be recycled in most cases.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: 630A Neutralisation, not specified
Not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: 660A Incineration, not specified
Contaminated containers or spillages of the preparation
mixed with inert material (e.g. sand or soil) may be
disposed of at an authorized tip in accordance with local
regulations.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: 660A Incineration, not specified
The usual route to destruction of this material is by
dissolution into a cleaning or wash solvent followed by
incineration.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: 640A Removal, not specified
In the unlikely event that the preparation should enter
the water treatment systems, contaminated water should be
treated by means of flocculation precipitation. The
precipitated material should be incinerated.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: None known.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable. Substance will not be available for the
public at large.
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable. Substance will not be available for the
public at large.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not applicable. Substance will not be available for the
public at large.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Not applicable. Substance will not be available for the
public at large.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable. Substance will not be available for the
public at large.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - others: Not applicable. Substance will not be available for the
public at large.
