Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move to fresh air. In case of irritation of respiratory
system or mucous membranes, seek medical attention. In case
of indisposition, seek medical attention. In case of
prolonged exposure, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes. In case of eye irritation, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wipe with absorbent paper or textile towels. Wash off with
soap and plenty of water. Do not use organic solvents. In
case of dermatitis, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Immediately give plenty (> 500 ml) of water (if possible
charcoal slurry). In case of spontaneous vomiting be sure
that vomitus can freely drain due to danger of suffocation.
Give water repeatedly. Artificial induction of vomiting
should be restricted to first aid staff. Give nothing by
mouth in cases of unconsciousness or convulsion. Seek
medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, Carbon dioxide (CO2), Foam, Dry powder
Product arising from burning: Oxides of carbon; Toxic gases/vapours
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear full protective clothing. Wear self-contained breathing
apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Personal precautions:
Do not breathe vapours/dust. Remove all sources of ignition.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
Environmental precautions:
Do not flush into surface water, sanitary sewer or ground
water system.
Methods for cleaning up:
Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica
gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Collect the
spilled product into suitable containers, which must be
tightly sealed and properly labelled.
Handling and storage
Handling: Handle and open container with care. Avoid vapour formation
and ignition sources. Ensure good local exhaust
ventilation. Do not eat, drink or smoke at the workplace.
Storage: Keep away from food and drink. Store in the original
container securely closed. Take precautionary measures
against
static discharges, e.g. by using proper earthing techniques.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 200 L polyethylene drum
