Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
should be taken into fresh air, and made to rest while
medical attention is sought.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes
and seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Immediatly wash affected area with warm, soapy water then
clean the skin with resin removing cream, followed by
further washing with warm soapy water. Do not use solvents.
If irritation persists,seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
mist extinguisher. Do NOT use water jets as these may spread
the fire base. In a serious fire, wear self-contained
breathing apparatus.
Product arising from burning: Combustion may release oxides of carbon and nitrogen.
Product determined by test: N
Accidental release measures
Avoid inhalation of dust. Dispose of as special waste to
landfill. Prevent spillage entering the drainage systems.
Handling and storage
(nitrile gloves are suitable). Use only in a fume cupboard
or under good local extract, wear saftey goggles or
facemask.
Storage: The substance is packaged in fibre/poly lined kegs. Store
containers, securely closed according to container label
instructions.
Store away from food and foodstuffs.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The material is currently stored at room temerature. DCA 30
is packaged in fibre/poly lined kegs.

Disposal considerations
material should be contained and disposed of as special
waste.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: The substance is neutral.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Advise should be sought from the Local Authority before
disposing of the substance and its associated products.
However, it is considered to be Special Waste for landfill.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain as a product.
It will remain in Industry/Skilled Trades until it is cured,
when it becomes an article.
