First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: In case of accident by inhalation: remove casaulty to fresh
air an keep at rest. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water and consult a physician.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash off with soap and plenty of water. If symptoms persist,
call a physician.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention immediately
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: water spray, foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder, sand
Product arising from burning: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, water
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: In case of fire wear self contained breathing apparatus.
Use water spray to cool unopened containers.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid contact with spilled product or contaminated surfaces.
Wear personal protective equipment ("Handling").
Unprotected persons must be kept away.
Sweep up or vacuum spillage and collect in suitable
containers for disposal.
Dispose according to local regulations.
Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer systems.
Handling and storage
Handling: Inhalation of the substance as well as skin and eye contact
should be avoided.
Where possible, closed equipment should be used during
filling and metered feeding as well as during sampling.
In the case of handling the substance in open systems,
extract any vapours which might form, directly at the point
of origin.
Personal precautions while handling the product:
Respiratory protection: filter apparatus, filter ABEK-P2
eye protection: safety glasses
skin protection: gloves made of PVC or nitrile rubber
Wash hands and face before breaks and immediately after
handling the product.
When using, do not eat, drink or smoke.
Keep working clothes seperately.
Keep away from fire and sources of ignition.
Take precautionary measures against static discharges.
Storage: Apply the VCI concept for the Mixed Storage of Chemicals.
Store in the original container.
Keep container tightly closed.
Avoid residues on the outside of the containers.
Keep in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
Avoid heat or direct sunlight.
Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.
