Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give CPR. If
breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get immediate medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
Obtain medical attention without delay.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes
while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Obtain
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Obtain medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray or fog, foam, dry chemical or C02.

Product arising from burning: Carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and oxides of nitrogen.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Self-contained positive-pressure breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Remove sources of ignition and ventilate area. Use at a
minimum, a respirator with an organic vapour cartridge with
prefilter approved to pesticide and splash goggles and
sufficient personal protective equipment to provide a
barrier to dermal exposure. Absorb spill with inert
material, then place in a chemical waste container. After
removal, flush contaminated area with water and collect for
disposal. Clean up spills immediately. Obey relevant local
regulations. Do not contaminate any groundwater or soil.

Handling and storage

Handling: Keep away from heat. Keep away from sparks, flames and other
sources of ignition. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and
clothing. Avoid breathing vapour or mist. Use with adequate
ventilation. Ground and bond containers when transferring
material. Use explosion-proof equipment. Follow all
MSDS/label precautions even after the container is emptied
because it may retain product residues. Wash thoroughly
after handling. See product technical data bulletin for
detailed use directions.

Storage: Product should be stored in an area that is not subject to
extreme temperatures. Do not contaminate water, food or feed
by storage or disposal. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep
container closed when not in use.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 20, 200 and 220 l pail lined steel drums.
