First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: In case of accident by inhalation: remove casaulty to fresh
air an keep at rest. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water and consult a physician.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash off with soap and plenty of water. If symptoms persist,
call a physician.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water. Consult a
physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: water spray, foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder, sand
Product arising from burning: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen chloride, water
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: In case of fire wear self contained breathing apparatus.
Use water spray to cool unopened containers.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid contact with spilled product or contaminated surfaces.
Wear personal protective equipment. Unprotected persons
must be kept away.
Sweep up or vacuum up spillage and collect in suitable
containers for disposal.
Dispose according local regulations.
Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer systems.
Handling and storage
This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) for on-site isolated intermediates and, in case the substance is transported to other sites for further processing, the substance should be handled at these sites under the Strictly Controlled Conditions as specified in REACH regulation Article 18(4). Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available at each manufacturing site.
Handling: All working methods must be designed so that exposure by
inhalation of the substance is minimized. In addition, skin
contact with the substance should be avoided. Closed, or at
least splashproof, equipment should be used during filling
and metered feeding as well as, if applicable, during
sampling. In the case of handling in open systems, any
vapours that can form must be extracted directly at the
point of origin. If technical extraction or ventilation
measures are not possible or are insufficient, respiratory
protection should be worn. To avoid skin contact, tested
protective gloves and, if applicable, suitable protective
clothing according to standard EN 368 (e.g. :::) should be
worn. Outdoor clothing should be kept separate from working
clothes.
Personal precautions while handling the product:
respiratory protection: filter apparatus, Filter ABEK-P2
eye protection: safety glasses
skin protection: gloves made fo PVC of nitrile rubber.
Avoid any contact:
Wash hands and face before breaks and immediately after
handling the product.
When using, do not eat, drink or smoke.
Keep away from fire and sources of ignition.
Take precautionary measures against static discharges.
Storage: Apply the VCI concept for the Mixed Storage of Chemicals.
Store in original container.
Keep container tightly closed.
Do not store in heat or direct sunlight.
Keep in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: container, 20 MT
