Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek
medical attention if irritation persists
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash immediately with plenty of soap and water. If
irritation persists seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, foam, dry powder or water mist may be used.
Water is not recommended.
Product arising from burning: Oxides of carbon.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1). Contain and
absorb spill using sand or another inert material. Transfer
to labelled containers and dispose in accordance with
national/local regulations. Wash spill site with water.
Avoid discharge to watercourses.
Handling and storage
Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic
chemicals. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid inhalation and
contact with skin and eyes.
Protective clothing (Standard EN368), eye/face protection
(Standard prEN166) and rubber gloves (Standard prEN374)
should be worn. Respiratory protection such as an organic
vapour mask conforming to Standard EN405ffA1 is necessary.
Storage: Store in tightly closed containers.
Keep away from heat sources, extremes of temperature and
oxidising agents.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Tightly closed aluminium containers.

health and environmental effects of the substance.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Disposal at a controlled landfill site is possible
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method of destruction. Incinerate at a suitable
facility. Stack gases should be scrubbed.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not permitted
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The notified substance will only enter the public domain
incorporated into formulations.
Recovery from preparations for reuse is not possible.
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: No chemical treatment is available to neutralise the known
health and environmental effects of the substance.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - others: The notified substance will only enter the public domain as
part of cosmetics and household preparations which can be
disposed of as for normal domestic waste.
