- Interpretation of results:
- GHS criteria not met
- Conclusions:
- The test item was found to be non-explosive in thermal sensitivity, mechanical sensitivity (shock and friction tests)
- Executive summary:
The determination of the physico-chemical data was based on the EEC-Directive 92/69/EEC of 31 July 1992, part A, methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties, A. 14 "explosive properties". Test results on thermal sensitivity, mechanical sensitivity with shock and friction of the test material are all negative, thus the test substance is non explosive.
Reference

The substance is not shock sensitive.
The substance is not sensitive to friction.
Description of key information
The test substance is non explosive.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Explosiveness:
- non explosive
Additional information
The determination of the physico-chemical data was based on the EEC-Directive 92/69/EEC of 31 July 1992, part A, methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties, A. 14 "explosive properties". Test results on thermal sensitivity, mechanical sensitivity with shock and friction of the test material are all negative, thus the test substance is non-explosive.
Justification for classification or non-classification
Based on the outcome of a test according to method A.14, the substance showed to be neither sensitive to shock, friction nor thermal stress. Therefore, the substance is not subject to classification for explosivity according to CLP (Regulation EC No 1272/2008) or DSD (Directive 67/548/EEC).
