Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Test material
- Details on test material:
- Due to the powder containing small particulates, which associated into clusters and lumps, it was deemed not possible to successfully disperse them in air without causing small particle fractures. The analysis was therefore carried out using the 'wet', small volume dispersion system. Several solvents were tried, in order to determine a suitable medium that provided maximum dispersability, but with minimum solubility. Silicone oil was finally seelcted as the most suitable dispersant.

Any other information on results incl. tables
The substance was analysed in the as received condition to reduce the risk of primary particle fractures. As a result the distribution from the laser diffraction analyzer details two peaks: one being the the individual particles and the other the agglomerated particles. The microscope analysis indicates that the largest peak is believed to be particle agglomerations whereas the smaller peak is the primary particles.
5% by volume of sample was seen to be <10µm.
