Description of key information

Based on the test results and phys-chem data, the substance could be considered as not highly adsorptive, that indicates that soil and sediment are not expected to be the main target compartments for exposure assessment (furthermore, based on the uses inventoried for organic peroxides it is consider that there isno direct application of these substances on the soil compartment).

When release in water compartment, the substance is expected to be not persistent. Indeed, tert-Amyl peroxy-2-ethylhexanoate was demonstrated to be hydrolytically unstable at environmental conditions and readily biodegradable.
