Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation : Remove subject to fresh air
Consult a doctor in case of breathing difficulties
Skin contact : Remove contaminated clothes and wash affected area with soap and water
Consult a doctor in case of irritation
Eye contact : Immediately flush eyes with water and continue rinsing eyes for at least 15 min
Consult an ophtalmologist
Ingestion : Do not induce drinking or vomiting.
Immediately transfer to hospital in a medicalized vehicle
Fire-fighting measures
Note on Special Exposure hazards : combustion of this substance generates toxic gases (CO, HBr)
Special protective equipment : Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and appropriate protective clothing
Accidental release measures
Wear apron, protective shoes, full protective suit and check that a security shower is available near the handling zone
Environmental precautions : avoid release to the soil and water contamination
Methods for cleaning-up : cover with sand or another not combustible absorbent material, pick up and place into proof containers for disposal
Handling and storage
Transfer by pumping, or under vaccum, or by gravity in a place without ignition source (including static charges)
Avoid contact with skin or eyes, do not breathe vapour
Storage : Store in tightly closed containers in a cool and dry place
