Description of key information

Using the Method according to Siwoloboff at atmospheric pressure, no boiling of the test substance before decomposition at 193°C was observed. Using the Distillation method at reduced pressure, again no boiling was observed and decomposition started at a lower temperature (174°C). Based on both methods it was concluded that the substance has no boiling temperature. The decomposition temperature (at atmospheric pressure) of the substance is 193°C (GLP-compliant study in accordance with EC A.2).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
193 °C

Additional information

The worst-case value of 193°C was reported as key value for CSA.
