Additional information

According to REACH Regulation (Annex IX, X, 9.4 column 2), short- and long-term toxicity testing with terrestrial organisms does not need to be conducted. For the derivation of PNECs testing can be substituted by the equilibrium partitioning method, based on aquatic tests. As no effects could be seen up to the solubility limit in short term tests with aquatic organisms and missing aquatic toxicity is also likely in consideration of QSAR modelled acute and chronic ecotoxicity reference values, no effects are expected for terrestrial organisms. Direct exposure of soil compartment is not intended. Indirect exposure of soil is not expected due to ready biodegradability, high Henry's law constant, quick photodegradation in air.
