To assess the effects of the substance to terrestrial organisms an earthworm reproduction test according to OECD guideline 222 (BASF SE 68E0321/12G112, 2013) and a toxicity tests to soil micro-organisms according to OECD guideline 216 (BASF SE 37G0321/12G109, 2013) were conducted.

The earthworm reproduction test did not reveal any abnormal behavior or toxic symptoms of the worms in the test substance groups or control group during the exposure time. Every endpoint (inhibition of reproduction: EC10, EC25, EC50 and mortality LC50) was > 1000 mg/kg dw.

The toxicity study to soil micro-organisms did not reveal any toxic effects up to the highest tested concentration. The EC10, EC25 and EC50 values are > 1000 mg/kg. The test batches remained visually unchanged during the exposure period.

No toxic effects have been observed in the available studies with soil living organisms and according to ECHA's integrated testing strategy additional tests, e.g. on plants, are not needed.
