Discussion

A third determination was performed as it was considered that test A for samples 1 and 2 were inconsistent with the other results. This may have been due to the system not being fully purged prior to taking the pressure measurements. Therefore, these values were not used in the determination of overall means.

Conclusions:
The density of the test material has been determined to be 4270 kg/m³ at 21.5 ± 0.5 °C.
Executive summary:

The density of the test material was determined in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 109 and EU Method A.3.

Using a gas comparison pycnometer, the density of the test material has been determined to be 4270 kg/m³ at 21.5 ± 0.5 °C.

Description of key information

The density of the test material is 4270 kg/m³.

Additional information

The key study was conducted in line with GLP and in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 109 and EU Method A. It was well reported and adhered to sound scientific principles. It was awarded a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the criteria of Klimisch (1997).

The density of the test material has been determined to be 4270 kg/m³ at 21.5 ± 0.5 °C using a gas comparison pycnometer.
