Conclusion on classification

Amine synergist was tested for toxicity to fish, invertebrates and algae. All acute toxicity values relevant for the classification are higher than 100 mg/L. Furthermore, although not readily biodegradable, amine synergist does break down to > 80% within 61 days (manometric respirometry testing). Also, the substance hydrolyses rapidly under environmentally relevant conditions. Based on this data, amine synergist does not qualify for environmental classification according to according to CLP (EC 1272/2008) criteria.
