Algal growth inhibition: Desmodesmus subspicatus: 72-h ErC50 = 113 mg/L, 72-h ErC10 =  72 mg/L (no analytical monitoring)

Additional information

The growth inhibiting effect of isovaleraldehyde on algae was tested with Desmodesmus subspicatus (reported as: Scenedesmus subspicatus) according to German Industrial Standard DIN 38412, part 9. The initial cell density of 1.3E04 cells/mL. The exposure duration was 96 h. No analytical monitoring was performed.

The reported effect values are: 72 -h ErC10 = 72 mg/L, 72 -h ErC50 = 113 mg/L, 72 -h EbC10 = 33 mg/L, 72 -h EbC50 = 80 mg/L
