Additional information

Solubility in n-octanol

Solubility in n-octanol was determined for C10-DMA and further members of the DMA category at ambient temperature (20-21 °C). C10-DMA was completely miscible with n-octanol, as was the case for the other DMAs tested. Accordingly, as the limit value, the respective density of the DMA was given as the solubility in n-octanol.
As supporting information, n-octanol solubility of the protonated form of C10-DMA (C10-DMA hydrochloride) as well as for other DMA hydrochlorides was determined. As could be expected, n-octanol solubility of the respective hydrochlorides is pronouncedly lower than neutral amine solubility. Full details are provided in the respective endpoint study records.
