Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: No adverse effects breathing a small amount of dust during proper industrial handling. If a large amount of dust is inhaled, move to fresh air and rinse mouth with water. Consult a physician if symptoms persist.
Skin: Wash material off the skin with copious amounts of water. If redness, itching or a burning sensation develops, get medical attention.
Eye: Immediately flush with copious amounts of water. If redness, itching or a burning sensation develops, have eyes examined and treated by medical personnel.
Ingestion: Wash mouth with water and if possible, give one or two glasses of water to drink, and induce vomiting. Consult physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media:
Suitable: Water fog, dry chemical, CO2 (In cases of fire around this material)
Unsuitable: None
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: This material does not flame, flash and ignite.
Advice for firefighters: Wear goggles and self-contained breathing apparatus
Special protective device to protect the firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing (In cases of fire around this material)
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear mask, protective glasses and suitable gloves
Environmental precautions: Prevent from contaminating soil or from entering sewage and drainage systems and bodies of water
Methods and material for containment and clean up: Vacuum the material and place in a disposal container
Precautious methods to prevent secondary hazards: Wear dust control mask. keep unnecessary people away, isolate hazard area and deny entry
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: Avoid skin and eye contact and avoid breathing dust. Handle material in a well-ventilated place to prevent dust explosion.
Conditions for safe storage: Store in a clean, cool and dry place
Specific end uses: Not available

Exposure Controls
Engineering controls: The use of local exhaust ventilation is recommended to control processing emissions near the source.
Personal protective equipment: Respiratory protection: The use of an approved dust respirator is recommended for certain operations.
Hand protection: Wear gloves as appropriate.
Eye protection: Use chemical safety goggles or protective eyeglasses.
Skin protection: Wear clothing such as clean whole body suits and boots as appropriate.
Environmental exposure controls: Safety shower and eye wash station near work area is recommended.

Reactivity: Not available.
Chemical stability: Stable under normal conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: Not available
Conditions to avoid: Not available
Incompatible materials: Fluoric acid
Hazardous decomposition products: Slight ammonia may be produced.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods: Disposal must be in accordance with current national and local regulations. Chemical residues generally count as special
waste. General EU requirements are given in Directive 2008/98/EC.
The product may be neutralized before disposal by the following procedure.
Packaging may contain residues of the product and should be treated accordingly. Do not dump this material into sewers, on the ground, or into any body of water.
