Description of key information

The value of the melting point is determined by a national guideline study (MITI) according to GLP standard.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
228 °C

Additional information

In four different sources the melting point of 6-phenyl-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyldiamine is reported to be about 221 -231 °C. The value from the national guideline study of MITI is considered to be most reliable and has been selected for the chemical safety assessment.
