Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information:
Avoid chance of exposure by any feasible way.
After inhalation:
Move the affected person to fresh air. If breathing becomes irregular or ceases, apply mouth-to-mouth resuscitation or artifical respiration immediately. Get medical attention.
After eye contact:
Rinse the eyes with water for several minutes with eyelids open wide. Check for and remove any contact lenses. Having rinsed the eyes, obtain ophthalmologic attention as soon as possible.
After swallowing:
Wash out the mouth with plenty of water, give plenty of water to drink, then obtain medical attenton immediately.
Information for doctor:
The physician must be informed on the time, type and extent of exposure. If needed, show the safety data sheet to the physician.
Fire-fighting measures
uitable extinguishing media:
The extinguishing media must be chosen depending on the characteristics of burning substance.
Available extinguishing media: water spray, carbon dioxid, extinguishing powder, foam.
Unsuitable extinguishing media:
Full water-jet are not suitable for extinguishing.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Substance is combustible. Combustion products: nitrogen oxides, carbonmonoxide/-dioxide.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Avoid direct contact between the personnel and the substance.
Only the trained personnel in charge of release is allowed to be present at the site of spilling, wearing the prescribed protective equipments.
Environmental precautions:
There are no data available confirming that substance would be dangerous to the environment.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Collect spilt substance aspiring to the lowest possible dust-level. Put the collected substance into adequately labelled empties and transport them to the site of disposal, then wash the contaminated area with plenty of water.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Handled it the compliance with good industrial hygiene and safety procedures.
All work processes must always be designed so minimize or exclude the risk of exposure.
Avoid any possibility of direct contact with substance while manipulating.
Avoid: dust formation; deposition, contact with skin, eyes; inhalation or ingestion, contact with water.
If dust develop, explosive dust/air mixture may develop. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Store it in a cool, dry, well-ventilated, free from direct sunlight place. Keep container tightly closed and sealed until ready for use. Do not store in unlabelled containers. Use appropriate containment to avoid environmental contamination.
Storage temperature: 15-30 °C. Outer packing: paper sack. Inner packing: PE sack.
Do not store together with substances specified in section Stability and reactivity.

Exposure controls / personal protection
This intermediate is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with the ECHA REACH Guidance on Intermediates.
The substance is rigorously contained during storage, the packaging is opened only in case of sampling, and when the substance is used in the process. When the substance is put in the reactor, air filtration (99% efficiency) is used along with personal protective equipment. The process is thereafter fully closed; no emission is detected until sampling of the reaction mass. During sampling air filtration (99% efficiency) is used along with personal protective equipment. At the end of the process, during the unloading of the substance and the sampling general air filtration is used along with personal protective equipment.
No occupational limits have been established.
Individual protection measures / personal protective equipment:
The personal protective equipment for the working process are determined by internal standards.
Wear closed protection glasses. Closed protective clothing against particulate matter. Protective gloves made of neopren-Wear P3 dust mask for respiatory protection.
Stability and reactivity
The substance is stabil at cool, dry place for 12 months.
Chemical stability:
Stable is defined storage conditions in section Handling and storage properly.
Possibility of hazardous reactions:
May react with substance specified in section Incompatible materials
Danger of elektrostatic charge. Danger of dust explosion.
Conditions to avoid:
Sensitive to the following physical effects: light, moisture.
Incompatible materials:
Strong oxidisers, strong acids, strong basics.
Disposal considerations
Suggestions for disposal procedures of the substance/product:
Incineration in a special waste incineration plant.
Since material catches fire relatively hard, it is useful to feed it into the incinerator dissolved in a flammable solvent.
Nitrogen content of the substance should be considered when incinerated.
Suggestions for disposal procedures of contaminated packaging (vessels):
Flammable empties must be incinerated in waste increation plant, in compliance with local regulations.
