Description of key information

Several studies were performed to determine physicochemical properties of Nα-Lauroyl-L-arginine ethyl ester monohydrochloride (LAE).

The methods followed were amongst those described in the EEC Methods for the Determination of Physicochemical Properties, Directive 92/69/EEC, Part A, Methods A1 -A17 and the OECD Guidelines for the Testing of Chemicals.

The physicochemical properties determined in this study are detailed below in Table 1, together with the result of the test:
