Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
General:
Take medical advice when occurrence symptoms or in cases of doubt. In case of unconsciousness give nothing by mouth.
Inhalation:
Move exposed person to fresh air. Keep person warm and at rest. If not breathing, if breathing is irregular or if respiratory arrest occurs, provide
artificial respiration or oxygen by trained personnel. If unconscious, place in recovery position and get medical attention immediately.
Ingestion:
Keep person warm and at rest. Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately.
Skin contact:
Flush contaminated skin with plenty of water and soap. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Do not use solvents or dilutions .
Eye contact:
Rinse open eyes for several minutes under running water and seek medical attention. Protect unharmed eye
Ingestion: After swallowing the product, if the affected person is conscious, rinse out the mouth with plenty of water.Do not induce vomiting.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable: In case of fire, use water spray (fog), foam, dry chemical or CO2. Do not use jet stream of water.
Additional information:
In case of fire the following can be released: Toxic gases/vapours;
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters:
In case of fire: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Additional hints: In case of fire, cool dangerous boxes by means of a jet of water. Do not allow the quenching water into the sewage system.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions:
Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel from entering. Do not touch or walk through spilt material. Provide adequate ventilation. Put on appropriate personal protective equipment.
Environmental precautions:
Avoid dispersal of spilt material and runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drains and sewers. Inform the relevant authorities if the product has
caused environmental pollution (sewers, waterways, soil or air). In case of release of gases or by penetration into surface water, soil or sewage inform the competent local authority.
Handling and storage
Handling:
Put on appropriate personal protective equipment . Eating, drinking and smoking should be prohibited in areas where this material is handled, stored and processed. Workers should wash hands and face before eating, drinking and smoking. Do not get in eyes or on skin or clothing. Do not inhale. Avoid release to the environment. Keep in the original container or an approved alternative made from a compatible material, kept tightly closed
when not in use. Empty containers retain product residue and can be hazardous. Observe label precautions. Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking.
Storage:
Store in accordance with local regulations. Store in a dry place. Keep container tightly closed and sealed until ready for use. Containers that have
been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not store in unlabelled containers. Use appropriate containment to
avoid environmental contamination.
Packing materials
Recommended:
Use original container.

Disposal considerations
Methods of disposal:
Contaminated packaging should be emptied as far as possible and after appropriate cleansing may be taken fot reuse. Handle contaminated packaging in the same way as the substance itself
