Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of test item Tris(2,3-Dibromoisopropyl)isocyanurate “AP 729” was evaluated by gas saturation method as per OECD guideline 104.
The vapour pressure was determined by preliminary and definitive test. To quantify the Tris(2,3-Dibromoisopropyl)isocyanurate “AP 729” content, the HPLC-UV method was validated. The validation parameter such as specificity, LOD, LOQ, linearity, accuracy, precision and stability were verified during validation.

Method validation parameters evaluated for the test item meets the acceptance criteria. The results obtained are within the specified limits, thus, this method is suitable for the analysis of Tris(2,3-Dibromoisopropyl)isocyanurate “AP 729” content in silica trapping material. The vapour pressure calculation for the test item is evaluated as per guideline and the results are found to be 0.05 mPa at 20ºC and 0.06 mPa at 40ºC.
