Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Short-term toxicity to fish

The 96h LC50 of the test item was determined to be > 0.59 mg/L (based on geometric mean measured concentration).

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

The 48h EC50 of the substance was determined to be 0.513 mg/L (based on geometric mean measured concentration).

Toxicity to aquatic algae

The 72h ErC10 and the ErC50 (growth rate) of the test item was determined to be 0.264 and 0.465 mg/L, respectively. The 72h EyC10 and the EyC50 (yield) of the test item was determined to be 0.013 and 0.147 mg/L, respectively.

Toxicity to microorganisms

According to the ECHA Guidance document R7b, no further test on the toxicity to microorganisms has to be conducted if the toxicity control in a ready biodegradability test shows no inhibitory effects on microorganisms. As the toxicity control in the Closed Bottle Ready Biodegradability Test (see IUCLID section 5.2.1) showed no inhibition of the microbial activity at a substance concentration of 2.2 mg/L, no further test is necessary to evaluate the respiration inhibition of activated sludge. The concentration used in the toxicity control (2.2 mg/L) can be used as NOEC value.
