Administrative data
First-aid measures
General Advice:
In case of exposure seek medical advice.
If person is unconscious and breathing place in recovery position.
If person is not breathing give artificial respiration and immediately seek medical advice.
In the event of exposure by inhalation:
If breathed in, move person into fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Immediately seek medical advice.
In the event of splashes or contact with eyes:
Rinse cautiously with fresh, clean water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing with
water for 15 minutes holding the eyelids open.
If there is any redness, pain or visual impairment seek medical attention.
In the event of splashes or contact with skin:
Remove contaminated clothing and wash the skin thoroughly with soap and water.
Watch out for any remaining product between skin and clothing, watches, shoes, etc.
If the contamination is to a large area and/or there is damage to the skin, seek medical advice immediately.
In the event of swallowing:
Seek medical advice immediately. Show the label.
Do not induce vomiting.
Do not give the patient anything orally.
If the quantity is small (no more than one mouthful), rinse the mouth with water and seek medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable methods of extinction
In the event of a fire, use:
Water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or CO2 extinguisher.
Unsuitable methods of extinction
In the event of a fire, do not use:

2 Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
A fire will often produce a thick black smoke. Exposure to decomposition products may be hazardous to health.
Do not breathe in smoke.
In the event of a fire, the following may be formed:
- Carbon monoxide (CO)
- Carbon dioxide (CO2)
- Hydrogen chloride (HCl)
- Hydrogen bromide (HBr)
3 Advice for firefighters
Due to the toxicity of the gas emitted on thermal decomposition of the products, fire-fighting personnel are to be equipped with
breathing apparatus.
Use water to cool unopened containers.
Accidental release measures
Consult the safety measures listed under sections " Handling and storage" and Exposure controls / personal protection"
For non- emergency personnel
Use personal protective equipment.
Avoid any contact with the skin and eyes. Avoid breathing vapours, mist or gas.
If a large quantity has been spilt, evacuate all personnel and only allow intervention by trained operators equipped with safety
equipment.
For emergency responders
Emergency responders must use suitable personal protective equipment.

Prevent any material from entering drains or waterways. Discharge into the environment must be avoided.

Pick up without creating dust. Keep in suitable closed containers for disposal according to local regulations

2. Exposure controls
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Ensure that there is adequate ventilation, especially in confined
areas. Never eat, drink or smoke during use. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday.
Personal protection measures, such as personal protective equipment

Use personal protective equipment that is clean and has been properly maintained. Store personal protective equipment in a clean place,
away from the work area. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-using
Eye / face protection
Avoid contact with eyes.
Wear mask goggles in accordance with standard EN166.
Provide eyewash stations in facilities where the product is handled constantly.
Hand protection
Avoid skin contact.
Use suitable protective gloves that are resistant to chemical agents in accordance with EU Directive 89/686/EEC and standard EN374.
Gloves must be selected according to the application and duration of use at the workstation in question: other chemical products that may be handled,
necessary physical protection (cutting, pricking, heat protection), level of dexterity required.
Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory practices.
Wash and dry hands.
Body protection
Avoid skin contact.
Wear suitable impervious protective clothing selected according to the concentration and amount of the substance at the specific
workstation.
Work clothing worn by personnel shall be laundered regularly.
Respiratory protection
Avoid breathing vapours or mist.
If the ventilation is insufficient, wear appropriate breathing apparatus.
Where air-purifying respirators are appropriate use a full-face respirator with multi-purpose combination (US) or type ABEK (EN14387)
respirator cartridges as a backup to standard exposure controls. If the respirator is the sole means of protection,
use a full-face supplied air respirator.
Stability and reactivity
The product is stable under normal conditions of use.

Disposal considerations
1. Waste treatment methods
Contact a licensed professional waste disposal service to dispose of this material. Offer surplus and non-recyclable solutions to a
licensed disposal company. Dissolve or mix the material with a combustible solvent and burn in a chemical incinerator equipped
with an afterburner and scrubber.
Waste:
Waste management must be carried out without endangering human health, without harming the environment and, in particular,
without risk to water, air, soil, plants or animals.
Recycle or dispose of waste in compliance with current legislation via a certified collector or company.
Do not contaminate the ground or water with waste, do not dispose of waste into the environment.
Contaminated packaging:
Empty container completely. Keep label(s) on container.
