Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

There are no soil organism studies available and currently none proposed.

In accordance with REACH Annex IX, section 9.4, Column 2, the equilibrium partitioning method (EPM) may be applied to assess the hazard to soil organisms. Currently, no definitive information is available on the logKoc or on the long-term toxicity to aquatic organisms (the batch equilibrium will be performed without testing proposal and 2 testing proposals are included for long-term aquatic toxicity studies), but based on the short-term toxicity data, no hazard is identified for the aquatic compartment. Depending on the outcome of the long-term aquatic toxicity studies as well as the results of the batch equilibrium test, subsequently the EPM will be used to derive a PNECsoil or, if that is not possible because no long-term aquatic effects are observed, new soil hazard data will be proposed.
