First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures
General advice: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. In case of a severe allergic or anaphylactic reaction, contact Poison Control immediately. IF exposed or concerned: Get medical advice/attention. Show safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.
Inhalation: IF exposed or concerned: Get medical advice/attention. Get medical attention immediately if symptoms occur. Remove to fresh air.
Skin contact: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.
Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. Do not rub affected area. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.
Ingestion: Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do NOT induce vomiting. Call a doctor.
Self-protection of the first aider: Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wear personal protective clothing
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Symptoms: Fatigue. Nausea. Dizziness. Burning sensation.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treat symptomatically. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible).
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable Extinguishing Media: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: No information available.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Fire hazard: Not flammable.
Explosive hazard: Not an explosive. Dust can form an explosive mixture with air.
Hazardous combustion products: Carbon oxides. Hydrogen cyanide. Nitrogen oxides (NOx). Oxides of sulphur. Sulphur compounds.
Advice for firefighters
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Firefighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full firefighting turnout gear. Use personal protection equipment.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Use personal protective equipment as required.
For non-emergency personnel
Personal Protective Equipment: Use personal protective equipment as required.
Emergency procedures: Evacuate personnel to safe areas.
For emergency responders
Personal Protective Equipment: Use personal protective equipment as required
Emergency procedures: Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Ventilate the area. Eliminate all ignition sources if safe to do so.
Environmental precautions: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.
Methods for containment: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.
Methods for cleaning up: Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Carefully shovel or sweep up spilled material and place in suitable container. Avoid generating dust. For spills:. Soak up with inert absorbent material. Use clean non-sparking tools to collect absorbed
material. Avoid breathing dust or spray mist.
Prevention of secondary hazards: Clean contaminated objects and areas thoroughly observing environmental regulations.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling: Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Avoid breathing vapours or mists. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.
General hygiene considerations: Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
Storage Conditions: Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Keep at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Protect from moisture. Protect from light. Store locked up.
Specific use(s): Raw material for pharmaceuticals.

Control parameters
Exposure Limits: No information available
Derived No Effect Level (DNEL): No information available.
Predicted No Effect Concentration (PNEC): No information available.
Exposure controls
Engineering controls: Site-specific risk assessments should be conducted to determine the appropriate exposure control measures. If applicable, use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation, or other engineering controls to maintain airborne levels below recommended
exposure limits.
Eye/face protection: If splashes are likely to occur, wear safety glasses with side-shields.
Hand protection: Impervious gloves. Wear suitable gloves.
Skin and body protection: Long sleeved clothing. Wear suitable protective clothing
Respiratory protection: Use appropriate respiratory protection. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.
General hygiene considerations: Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
Environmental exposure controls: Do not allow into any sewer, on the ground or into any body of water.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: Hazardous reactions will not occur under normal conditions.
Chemical stability: Stable under normal conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: None under normal processing.
Conditions to avoid: Extremes of temperature and direct sunlight.
Incompatible materials : Strong acids. Strong bases. Strong oxidising agents.
Hazardous decomposition products : Decomposition will not occur under normal conditions.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods : Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local, regional, national, and international regulations as applicable. Dispose of waste in accordance with environmental legislation. Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.
