The mean surface tension of a 1.0 g/L solution of the test substance at 20 °C was determined to be 67.3 mN/m.
Executive summary:

The surface tension of duplicate 90% saturated solution of the test substance in high purity water was determined under GLP to OECD TG 115, using the ring method. A proper aliquot of test substance was diluted in high purity water (with a specification of resistance >15 MΩ and TOC ca. 20 ppb). Duplicate sample solutions were prepared for two independent determinations by diluting an aliquot of about 0.2 g of test substance in 200 mL high purity water. This solution was then shaken at 30 °C for about 42 hours. The solution was then equilibrated at 20 °C for about 23 hours. The isolated, saturated filtrate was then diluted to 90% of its former concentration with high purity water. An aliquot of each sample solution was then transferred to the measuring vessel. The measurements were done with a torsion balance for surface and interfacial tension determinations. The measured surface tension values of the clear, colourless solutions at a nominal concentration of 1.0 g/L were 67.3 mN/m and 67.3 mN/m, resulting in a mean surface tension of 67.3 mN/m at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C. The pH value of the two solutions was 6.7 to 6.8.
